Privacy policy

Updated 17 October 2026

This page explains what personal data we process, why, and what your rights are.

Data controller

STAY BY CAMILLE, a French SAS registered with the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number 939 997 474. Contact: contact@staybycamille.com.

When you browse the site

The site has no forms and sets no advertising cookies. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free tool that does not identify you or track you across other sites.

The booking module is displayed from the Nowistay service, which may use its own trackers to operate and to measure its audience. Its privacy policy applies to those trackers.

When you book

To process your booking, we collect your name, email address, phone number, stay dates, number of guests and any information you choose to send us. Payment is processed by Stripe: we never see your card numbers.

We use this data to:

  • carry out your booking and welcome you (legal basis: performance of the contract);
  • send you practical information about your stay and answer your messages (performance of the contract);
  • meet our legal obligations, including accounting and tourist-tax obligations (legal obligation).

Recipients

Your data is processed by us and by our service providers, only for the purposes above:

  • Nowistay, for the booking module, messages and guest welcome;
  • Stripe, for payment;
  • Cloudflare, for hosting the site.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Booking data is kept for the duration of our relationship, then archived for as long as the law requires, notably 10 years for accounting records.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, erase or port your data, restrict its processing, or object to certain processing, by emailing contact@staybycamille.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
