Terms of sale

Updated 22 October 2026

These terms apply to buying the Arcachon bench miniature on staybycamille.com from STAY BY CAMILLE, a French SAS with share capital of €1,000, registered with the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number 939 997 474 (“we”), reachable at contact@staybycamille.com. By ordering, you accept them. The French version of these terms prevails.

1. The product

The Arcachon bench miniature is a kit model at 1/12.5 scale, in red and white bio-based plastic. Its page describes its features, its size and what comes in the pouch. Each bench is made in France, and small differences in appearance from one to the next are possible. It is a decorative object, not a toy, and is not suitable for children under 36 months.

2. Price

The price is in euros, including VAT, with delivery included to the countries offered at checkout. A promotion code can be entered on the payment page.

3. Order and payment

The “Order” button takes you to Stripe’s secure payment page, where you choose the quantity, enter the delivery address and pay. The summary, with the total price, is shown before you confirm the payment. The sale is concluded once the payment is confirmed, and you receive a receipt by email.

Payments are processed by Stripe: we never see your card numbers.

4. Delivery

We deliver to France and the other European countries offered on the payment page. The bench ships within 3 working days of payment; transit time then depends on the destination country. In every case it reaches you within 30 days of the order.

The bench travels at our risk until you receive it. If it is not delivered within that time, you can ask us to deliver it within a reasonable additional period and then, if it still does not arrive, cancel the order and be refunded (articles L. 216-1 and following of the French Consumer Code). If the parcel arrives damaged, email us a photo and we will send you another bench.

5. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from receiving the bench to withdraw, with no need to give a reason. To do so, send us a clear statement by email to contact@staybycamille.com, for example using the form in the annex.

You then send the bench back, complete, no later than 14 days after telling us of your decision; we will give you the return address. Return postage is at your cost. You are only liable for any loss in value of the bench caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish its nature and how it works.

We refund everything you paid no later than 14 days after being told of your withdrawal, using the same payment method as the order. We may withhold the refund until we receive the bench or until you have given us proof of sending it.

Like any professional seller, we are bound by the legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects. To use them, email us at contact@staybycamille.com.

The official wording below is the box required by French law (article D. 211-2 of the Consumer Code); the French version of these terms gives it in full. In summary:

You have two years from delivery to claim under the legal guarantee of conformity if a defect of conformity appears; during that time you only need to show the defect exists, not when it appeared. The guarantee entitles you to repair or replacement within thirty days of your request, free of charge and without major inconvenience. A repair under the guarantee extends it by six months; if we impose a replacement when you asked for a repair, the guarantee restarts for two years from the replacement. You can obtain a price reduction while keeping the item, or end the contract with a full refund against its return, if we refuse to repair or replace it, if the repair or replacement takes longer than thirty days, if it causes you major inconvenience, or if the defect persists despite our attempt to fix it. You are also entitled to an immediate price reduction or termination when the defect is serious enough to justify it, without first asking for repair or replacement; you cannot terminate the sale for a minor defect. Any period during which the item is out of use for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee until the repaired item is delivered back. These rights result from articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code. A seller who in bad faith obstructs the legal guarantee of conformity faces a civil fine of up to €300,000, which can be raised to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the Consumer Code). You also benefit from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovering the defect; it entitles you to a price reduction if you keep the item or a full refund against its return.

7. Complaints

For any question or complaint about an order, email us at contact@staybycamille.com. We reply as quickly as we can.

8. Personal data

The information collected with your order is used to process it, deliver it and issue the invoice. Our privacy policy explains how it is used and how to exercise your rights.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
